What began as an online-only store quickly grew into a blooming business with a beautiful storefront located in Historic Roswell, GA. Our online shop continues to spread hippie love & style across the states, and our storefront welcomes all who wander down the scenic Canton Street!

Hello Hippie friends, I’m Monica Roese 👋 the owner of Two Funky Hippies!
I am a mom, a grandmother (Yaya), and a wife to my sweet hubby of 38 years, Bill. I’m a local Roswell, Georgia gal with BIG DREAMS who sees the world through rose-colored glasses. My hubby Bill does a great job keeping me grounded tho 🙂
My passion for all things fashion, vintage and of course non-stop shopping for treasures is what brought me here! Two Funky Hippies was born out of my Florida home with my bestie, Kelly Mason Primeau back in 2020, when the world shut down and shopping online became even more of a thing. You see, Kelly and I loved shopping everywhere we went during our many years of travels together for work. Our intension was to have women of all ages (we are both in our 50’s) look at us and say “if they can wear that, then I can too!” My belief is that style should be a personal thing and not “trendy”. I feel we should wear what makes us feel confident and happy while having fun with styles! After all, life is just too short to be basic, right?
Hi! I'm Christine McRee, the manager & photographer at your favorite funky boutique 🤗 I've been part of the Hippies team for one year now. You may have seen me around town walking my dog Spot, our resident spoiled chihuahua. I was born & raised in Marietta GA, lived in Rome GA while getting my psychology degree at Berry College, and eventually found my way back to Marietta when I bought my first home last year. If I'm not at the boutique keeping things in order, you may find me playing piano, watching documentaries, or reading in my home library. I've always had a love for creative expression through clothing, and my time as a funky hippie has allowed me to put my passions to work. I always enjoy meeting new people, so come by the store and say hi to me! (& Spot) 💛
Hi, I’m Jessica McRee! My friends call me Jess 😉 I’m the marketing manager here at Two Funky Hippies, aka Christine’s sister, aka Spot’s aunt. The hippies invited me to join their team just a few months ago, and I am LOVING it. After working from home for a law firm for 3 years, this job has provided me with the social and creative outlets I’d really been missing. I’m so grateful for this groovy opportunity, and I look forward to meeting many more of our local hippies! When I’m not working, you can find me and my fiancé Sean traveling/taking our camper out, and/or playing music together 🎤 (you may have seen us play at some of our Two Funky Hippie events!) Come by the shop and let's talk fashion, travel, and music! ☮️
Hi I’m Spot 🐾 I’m the head of security at Two Funky Hippies, and I take my job very seriously. Unless someone has chicken. But I basically run this place. I sometimes bark when customers come in, just in case my fellow employees didn’t hear the bell. I keep everyone on a strict schedule of taking me out, feeding me, and holding me at all hours of the day. When things are busy, I poke my mom and Aunt Jess in the leg to make sure they know it’s busy. I don’t know what they’d do without me. I’ve been hearing rumors that I’m the face of the business, so I guess I’m kind of a big deal. 🐶
