What began by two best friends as an online-only store amid a Pandemic in 2020 quickly grew into a blooming business with a beautiful storefront in Historic Roswell, GA. in 2022. Our online shop continues to spread love & style across the states, while our storefront welcomes all who wander down scenic Canton Street!

We celebrate the timeless charm of vintage design and blend it with today’s dynamic trends, creating a welcoming space where women of every age and stage can find confidence, creativity, and elegance in every piece they wear.

Hey there, hippie friends! I’m Monica Roese 👋, one of the proud owners of Two Funky Hippies!
I’m a mom, a proud Yaya, and the grateful wife of my amazing husband, Bill, for 40 incredible years. With BIG DREAMS and a heart that sees the world through rose-colored glasses, Bill is always there to keep me grounded! 🙂
My love for fashion, vintage treasures, and endless shopping adventures led me here! Two Funky Hippies was born in my Florida home in 2020, alongside my bestie, Kelly Mason Primeau, when the world shut down and online shopping became the norm. Kelly and I traveled together for years for work, turning every trip into a shopping spree. Our mission? To inspire women of all ages who see us and think, “If they can wear that, then I can too!”
I believe style is all about personal expression—not just following trends. We should wear what makes us feel confident, happy, and true to ourselves. Because let’s be real—life’s too short to wear basic clothes. ✌️💖
Christine McRee, Boutique Director of Operations
Hi! I'm Christine McRee, the operations manager & photographer at your favorite funky boutique 🤗 I've been part of the Hippies team for over two years now. You may have seen me around town walking my dog Spot, our resident spoiled chihuahua. I was born & raised in Marietta GA, lived in Rome GA while getting my psychology degree at Berry College, and eventually found my way back to Marietta when I bought my first home last year. If I'm not at the boutique keeping things in order, you may find me playing piano, watching documentaries, or reading in my home library. I've always had a love for creative expression through clothing, and my time as a funky hippie has allowed me to put my passions to work. I always enjoy meeting new people, so come by the store and say hi to me! (& Spot) 💛
Jessica Thrower, Marketing and Social Media Manager
Hi, I’m Jessica Thrower! My friends call me Jess 😉 I’m the marketing manager & events coordinator here at Two Funky Hippies, aka Christine’s sister, aka Spot’s aunt. I've now been a part of the hippies team for over a year, and I wouldn't have it any other way! After working from home for a law firm for 3 years, this job has provided me with the social and creative outlets I’d really been missing. I’m so grateful for this groovy opportunity, and I look forward to meeting many more of our local hippies! When I’m not working, you can find me and my husband Sean traveling/taking our camper out, and/or playing music together 🎤 (you may have seen us play at some of our Two Funky Hippie events!) Come by the shop and let's talk fashion, travel, and music! ☮️
Spot, Boutique Greeter and Head of Security
Hi I’m Spot 🐾 I’m the head of security at Two Funky Hippies, and I take my job very seriously. Unless someone has chicken. But I basically run this place. I sometimes bark when customers come in, just in case my fellow employees didn’t hear the bell. I keep everyone on a strict schedule of taking me out, feeding me, and holding me at all hours of the day. When things are busy, I poke my mom and Aunt Jess in the leg to make sure they know it’s busy. I don’t know what they’d do without me. I’ve been hearing rumors that I’m the face of the business, so I guess I’m kind of a big deal. 🐶
